Carmen Oleaga Quintas
Carmen was born in Argentina and raised in Spain. She did her bachelors in Health Biology and then a master's degree in Immunology research. She then obtained her PhD from Complutense de Madrid University under the supervision of Jacinta Bustamante and Rebeca Pérez de Diego. During her PhD she discovered her passion for lab management. Her current interest in the Balskus lab involves learning about all projects and helping with lab operations.Outside the lab Carmen enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with her family.
