Devon Van Cura
As an undergraduate, Devon used transient kinetic and spectroscopic methods to study the enzymatic mechanism of diiron oxidases involved in microbial biofuel production. As a graduate student, he is interested in the discovery of new N–N bond-forming enzymes with potential applications in biocatalysis and synthetic biology. Outside of lab, Devon enjoys playing chess and competing in Jiu-Jitsu.
