Paula Pelayo
Paula is interested in understanding how microbes use enzymes to influence their communities. She is currently studying sialidases in the vaginal microbiome and their potential implications on human health. Outside of lab, she enjoys taking dance lessons, cooking, and a good Netflix binge of random feel-good shows.
