Zheng Cui
Zheng joined the Balskus laboratory as a postdoc fellow in 2022. She completed her Ph.D. with Prof. Steven Van Lanen at the University of Kentucky. Her graduate research focused on the discovery, biosynthesis and application of nucleoside antibiotics. Her current research interests center on natural products discovery and biosynthesis in human microbiome. Outside of lab, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
